You will manage the business relationships with existing commercial clients in order to maximize client service and satisfaction in the overall best interest of the company, serve as the liaison between Pharmaceutical Development Services (PDS) when applicable and Commercial site management to manage the introduction of new products from the PDS pipeline and directly with clients on new Technical Transfer projects.Sr. Manager, Business Management is highly qualified with respect to client and business requirements and identifies solutions through managing the BM team. You will build a strong foundational business relationship with business accounts and assign the BM team to those clients in the most effective way to generate business growth through identifying and developing business opportunities, partnering with Sales, and the successful completion of Technology Transfers. Scope of the position includes:
Client Relationship Management, Finance and Forecast Management, Quotations and Contracts, Strategic Project Management, and Talent Management.Serve as the leader in site business activities, representing the client interests, while maximizing site's financial position.Ensure all issues are handled promptly and that all communications are timely and accurate.Work closely with Business Development team to ensure consistent flow of new business to sites and seamless transfer of responsibility to site BM teams.Manage the BM team to ensure that expected service levels are being provided and that required planning and technical information is being exchanged appropriately with regard to client's requirements.Lead engagement of the CAS (Client Allegiance Score) program, develops action plans and manages escalation process.Ensure that commercial client forecasts are updated consistently in the Demand process, including market intelligence.Ensure the team assesses the forecasts for new products/PDS projects and include in Demand and/or Long Range Plan as necessary.Know Patheon financial obligations and work with Finance to assure compliance.Provide input in the STRAP (Strategic Action Plan) and ongoing forecasts.Ensure annual pricing updates are completed and delivered by the BM team to the clients per the MSA.Ensure that all MSA requirements are executed, including pricing, payment terms, renewals, yield reconciliations, etc.Ensure that the generation of Quality Agreements is done and assesses their commercial impact.Ensure the team completes commercial assessments and generates/negotiates quotations for technical changes and in response to customer requests for additional services outside those captured in the Master Services Agreement.Work closely with project managers/TTPMs or Manager, Tech Transfer to assume control of tech transfer projects upon validation.Participate in and ensures that all projects between the site and clients are executed according to the project plan.Ensure that critical issues are communicated to the Director, Business Management and drive efficient resolution.Coordinate site business activities with Business Development, Finance, Quotations and other internal functions.Generate development plans for Business Managers based on gaps in core competencies and in support of employee career goals.Analyze and evaluate results regularly in order to ensure core competency development, high level of performance, and motivation, utilizing coaching and mentoring approach.Develop solution based recommendations, quickly and efficiently using site and regional resources.Address personnel issues promptly.Assure compliance with all business management policies and activities.Negotiate site business issues for the best outcome of Thermo Fisher Scientific.How will you get here:

Bachelor Degree required, preferably in Science, Finance or BusinessMasters of Business Administration (MBA) degree preferred
Experience:
5 years of related experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry5 years of experience managing direct reportsEquivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be consideredKnowledge, Skills, AbilitiesPosition may require Covid-19 vaccination and/or routine testing, per client discretion. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
