WNCT TV in Greenville, NC is hiring a Sales Manager.
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the day to day operations of the Sales department, including development of new business and achievement of revenue goals across Broadcast and Digital Platforms.
Provides leadership for the broadcast/digital sales teamsMakes decisions regarding hiring, evaluation, promotion and termination of employeesDevelops and executes sales strategies which result in exceeding revenue targets in local, new business and digital revenueDrives new business developmentManages inventory and revenue forecastingManages recruitment, training, evaluation, and development of sales professionalsPrepares budgets and approves budget expendituresManages Accounts ReceivableDevelops and cultivates client relationships alongside Account ExecutivesPerforms other duties as assigned Requirements & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising or Mass Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experienceMinimum three-five years of media sales experienceFluency in EnglishExcellent communication skills, both oral and writtenValid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordExperience guiding, directing and motivating personnel, including setting and monitoring performance standardsExperience establishing long-range objectives and specifying the strategies and actions to achieve themAbility to identify the developmental needs of others and to coach, mentor or otherwise help others to improve their knowledge or skillsProficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, and other office equipmentExperience with Wide Orbit Traffic, Strata, Matrix, and comScore is preferred Recommended Skills Advertising Broadcasting Coaching And Mentoring Communication Customer Relationship Management Leadership Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
