Stay up-to-date on HR trends and best practices.Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.Lead the recruitment and selection process, ensuring quality and diversity of talent acquisition.Partner with other departments to support their HR needs. This includes collaborating with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop workforce planning strategies.Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.Manage the performance management process, including setting goals, conducting performance reviews, and providing feedback.Conduct exit interviews with exiting employees during the separation process.Manage employee relations, including addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and conducting disciplinary actions.Review turnover rates by department and as a company to provide strategies to improve retentionOversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.Develop and deliver training programs for employees.Develop and administer employee benefits programs.Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.Travel between PJi facilities in Greenville, NC and New Bern, NCBachelors degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar HR role.Strong understanding of HR principles and practices, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and training.Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong analytical and organizational skills.Proficiency in HR software and technologyAbility to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
