This position provides training to blind or visually impaired persons living in Eastern North Carolina counties served by the Greenville District Office of the NC Division of Services for the Blind including Beaufort, Bertie, Camden, Carteret, Chowan, Craven, Currituck, Dare, Edgecombe, Gates, Greene, Halifax, Hertford, Lenoir, Martin, Nash, Northampton, Pamlico, Pasquotank, Perquimans, Pitt, Washington, Wayne, and Wilson counties.
Since 1935, the mission of the North Carolina Division of Services for the Blind (DSB) has been to enable people who are visually impaired, blind, and deafblind to reach their goals of independence and employment.
