Job Description:
Maintains inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, and delivering items; securing warehouse; and supervising staff.
Job Duties May Include:
Meeting warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements.
Moving inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouse; coordinating inventory transfers with related departments.
Maintaining storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements.
Maintaining inventory by conducting monthly physical counts; reconciling variances; inputting data.
Work from shipping orders and packing lists to prepare outgoing truck and UPS Fedex shipments, both domestic and foreign
Select items from stock: check part numbers, quantity and or weights; bundle or palletize as needed
Prepare shipping labels, determine and apply appropriate postage or fees.
Maintain required records of destination, insurance values, C.O.D. other information according to established procedure.
Operate power fork-lift truck as needed unload shipments, store or retrieve goods.
Maintain warehouse and stock locations in a orderly manner.
Quality and observe all Safety regulations
