This position reports to the Site Supply Chain Manager. Supply Chain Planner (1702829) Greenville, OH Formula for Success:
You Will Convert demands (i.e., forecasts, customer orders, internal orders) into production schedules that meet the needs of the customer in a cost-effective fashion. Develop Master Production plans and Finite schedules in support of inventory targets, customer service goals and manufacturing efficiencies for manufactured materials. Use capacity planning tools to ensure valid schedules. Monitor orders, stock status, and MRP exception messages in SAP to support production ensuring materials are available to implement plan. Review and manage all schedule change requests. Ensure materials and capacities are available to support schedules. Optimize production and distribution costs and inventory investments within service constraints. Serve as the key interface between Marketing/Sales and Manufacturing. Create Your Own Chemistry:

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent Ingredients for Success:
What We Look for in You High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred; advanced degree is also a plus. A minimum of 2 years of experience in Demand Management and/or Supply Chain Management, particularly in a multi-channel supply chain environment. Strong data analysis and MS-Excel skills. Working knowledge of SAP or other ERP system required; SAP preferred. APICS CPIM or CIRM certification, or nearing completion of certification preferred. Knowledge of querying/database/spreadsheet applications. Working knowledge of Supply Chain Management concepts. Excellent organizational, analytical, collaborative and interpersonal skills.
