Continually gathers, interprets, analyzes, and correlates large amounts of narrative and statistical information about organizational functions, workload, and productivity. Interprets policy and procedural information in order to give advice and guidance and to make decisions or recommendations on management and technical problems involving personnel, personnel budget, performance improvement, supplies, equipment, and space. Responsible for studying, tracking ,trending, and applying analytical methods and techniques to evaluate issues and make recommendations concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of program operations. Reads, analyzes, and interprets technical and administrative directives, policies, and regulations, taking action when appropriate and/or making recommendations of action needed to accomplish requirements. Responsible for the collection, compilation, and validation of costing data for input in the current cost distribution system. Conducts periodic analyses and furnishes the results of such studies with appropriate recommendations. Performs, in collaboration with section supervisors, budget administration functions in the annual formulation and revisions of the program budget/estimates. Analyzes complex administrative management problems with rapid fluctuation in various program priorities and requirements. First time supervisor must complete a one year probationary period. Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-11 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-9. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. management analysis, administrative management, and personnel management. This work must have been performed in an operating health care facility or a higher organizational echelon with advisory or directional authority over such facilities.(Applicants who do not meet the Selective Placement Factor, will be rated as Ineligible.) Experience:
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-9 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to:

Applicants may substitute education for the required experience. To qualify based on education for this grade level you must have successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree from an accredited college or university. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the Administrative Officer position. NOTE:

Applicants may also combine education and experience to qualify at this level. The work of this position is sedentary in nature. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
